At the heart of the administrative
'nuts and bolts' of Solid Rock, is our secretary, Sharon Candela. She
carries a Bachelor's Degree in Music with a major in composition, and an
Associates in Business Administration. Sharon has served faithfully at
Solid Rock since July, 2004.
Sharon is well qualified. Prior to coming to Solid Rock, she served for
fifteen years as a Minister of Music and Youth. She was the Development
Director for The Asheville School for Boys for six years, as well as the
Office Manager and V.P. of Resort Management International for ten. She
also has training and experience in loan processing, loan origination,
and real estate brokering. Currently, she serves on the board of
directors for First Founders Financial Corporation.
Sharon, a widow, is a mother of two, and grandmother of two beautiful
granddaughters. In her spare time, she enjoys music, web design, and
spending time with family.
